In 2020, John completed his 30th year in the financial services industry. During the last three decades, John has developed a great enthusiasm for helping high-net-worth families build, grow and preserve financial wealth through advanced planning, portfolio management and generational wealth advisory.

John spent eighteen years at Morgan Stanley and joined Merrill Lynch in 2008 where he and his partners practiced for ten years growing their client base to over $1.1 billion by 2018. The team decided to move the practice to Rockefeller Capital Management in 2019 seeking to be part of a leading firm to provide independent advice and guidance. John and his team have deep experience providing specialized advisory for client liquidity events such as a business sale or retirement and further assist with investment management and family office services.

John has been a member of the New York Stock Exchange Hearing Board since 1998 and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation, awarded by the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). He is a Senior Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, model portfolios and third-party investment strategies. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and is a member of BENS – Business Executives for National Security. John has been an active leader in the Atlanta Scouting community for the last twelve years. He has served as a Cubmaster and Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America and most recently Scoutmaster for the new Scouts BSA program for girls. John also recently completed his term as the District Chair of Scouting for Northern Dekalb County and is a board member of the Atlanta Area Council.  John loves the outdoors and enjoys sporting clays, fishing and is a private pilot.

William has been passionate about helping clients stay on track toward their retirement income goals since starting his financial services career with Morgan Stanley.  In 2019, the team decided to move the practice to Rockefeller Capital Management, seeking to be part of a leading firm to provide independent advice and guidance.  

Since 2001, William has helped a select group of high-net-worth clients acquire, grow, and preserve assets helping them pass their wealth to future generations.  He helps clients understand the importance of taking steps now to build long term financial health and retirement security.  In addition, he has experience assisting families and business owners with the unique circumstances and challenges associated with liquidity events.  He was honored in 2015 and 2017 by being included in The Financial Times Top 401 Retirement Plan Advisors list.  William was also recently named to Forbes “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors” list in 2018.*

William earned a bachelor’s degree in financial planning at the University of Alabama. He is a member of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) and the Buckhead Lions Club. He is a member of the Foundation Board, Annual Fund Committee and Dream Society for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  In addition, he is a current member of the administrative board at his church and a past member of its finance committee. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Bonnie, and their two children.

Schuyler began his business career as a corporate financial analyst in the transportation industry. Soon after, in 2003, he became a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley. Schuyler then became a principal team member of The ECQG Group in 2008. Within the group, he focuses on financial strategies and investment management for affluent families and has assisted in growing the practice to over $1.1 billion by 2018.  The team decided to move the practice to Rockefeller Capital Management seeking to be part of a leading firm to provide independent advice and guidance.

Schuyler is a Managing Director who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, model portfolios and third-party investment strategies. Schuyler holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor Designation (CPWA®) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designations.

A native of Mobile, Schuyler graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He and his wife, Lori, and their children, live in Atlanta, where Schuyler is involved in activities to support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Schuyler and his family attend Peachtree Presbyterian Church, where he and his wife volunteer in the student ministry. He uses his organizational and strategic skills to assist individual clients in developing customized investment strategies designed to help them pursue their multi-generational wealth transfer goals. Evan entrenches himself into the details of his client’s estate planning and ownership structures to help clients understand the intricacies of their estate plan. Evan seeks to provide clear, direct and relatable explanations of these complex topics.  Evan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He has also earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation and the Certified Private Wealth Advisor designation (CPWA®).

Evan is a senior portfolio advisor who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can draw from his experience to help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing custom investment strategies, selecting from a wide range of model portfolios and third-party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the firm’s Investment Advisory Program, a senior portfolio advisor may manage those strategies on a discretionary basis. Evan received a bachelor’s degree in finance from University of Florida in Gainesville. A resident of Atlanta, he previously served on the finance committee of his homeowners association and volunteers with the Emerging Leaders for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Taylor was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She studied Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida where she enhanced her passion for creating unforgettable client experiences, while maintaining a strong level of commitment to exemplary customer service. Passionate about providing personable and concise, yet empathetic communication to clients, Taylor moved to Atlanta to begin a career in the retirement industry. In 2013, she joined My Benefits, LLC, a Third Party Administrator, which provided recordkeeping and administration services for corporate 401(k) plans. Taylor began as a Retirement Plan Sales Specialist for the state of Georgia where she provided plan design solutions and employee participation increase opportunities to Financial Advisors and Plan Sponsors. After 3 years of limitless amplification, Taylor grew to become a National Retirement Plan Sales Specialist and became a subject matter expert for Plan Sponsors and Financial Advisors across the country.

After 4 years of working side-by-side with Financial Advisors, while servicing their clients and assisting them with the evolvement of their retirement book, Taylor made a vital decision to accept a position with the Embleton Curtis Quackenbush Group. Today, Taylor assists with private wealth management, individual and family financial planning, client account analysis and investment proposals. Taylor also handles the custom planning of all unique client events and meeting functions.

Taylor’s favorite time is spent with her husband, Andrew, daughter, Madison, and 2 dogs, Gunner & Bailey.

Amanda is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. She moved to Jacksonville in 2002 and began her career as a Service Associate for Merrill Lynch Service Network in 2012. As a Service Associate, Amanda provided an array of guidance and customer service to both clients and colleagues, all within the banking and wealth management side of Merrill Lynch.

In 2013, Amanda moved to Atlanta as she transitioned into the Client Associate role at Merrill Lynch. She spent the next 6 years managing the operational side for her previous team. After relocating to Manhattan for a short time, Amanda made her way back to Atlanta and decided to join the Embleton Curtis Quackenbush Group in 2020.

Amanda attended Florida State College of Jacksonville with a degree in Business Management.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys exploring the city with her friends, spending time outdoors with her beloved dog, Tucker, and watching Alabama football.
