An industry veteran since 2000, Matt is the senior member and founder of Langhorst Wealth Management. Matt joined Rockefeller in May of 2022. He began his career as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley in Chicago, and in 2004 moved to UBS to work in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

As a dedicated Advisor, Matt is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and works closely with clients, overseeing and tailoring portfolios to clients' needs. He has years of experience in selecting top institutional money managers, as well as customizing equity and exchange traded fund models. Matt is uniquely qualified to provide a comprehensive evaluation on a wide range of financial needs, with customized solutions to position his clients for financial success. He has a carefully selected team of professionals who have a broad base of skills to deliver a fully integrated wealth management plan.

Matt is a graduate of Drake University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation, administered by the Investment Management Consultants Association® and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Matt also hold his Certified Private Wealth Advisor® certification from Chicago Booth School of Business – a certification focused on analyzing and developing strategies for the unique challenges high-net-worth individuals face. Matt is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor. He maintains his Series 7, 31, 63, and 65 securities licenses.

Matt is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association. Matt has two wonderful children.

Rebecca joined Rockefeller in May of 2022. She began her career with UBS in 2015 as a Client Service Associate.  She works closely with clients in an operational capacity. Rebecca is currently working on a B.A. in business finance from University of Texas at Dallas.

Rebecca is a member of Rockwall & Brinn Church of Christ and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Shawn D. Moore is a Private Advisor, Managing Director at The Moore Langhorst Group. Shawn began his career in wealth management in 2006 and has a passion for working closely with high net individuals and multigenerational families to develop customized financial plans. He remains committed to helping clients achieve their goals, which often entails financing a major acquisition, planning for a successful retirement and minimizing taxes through asset management strategies.

Shawn graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.S. degree in Business and Information Systems. He began his career at BSG as a technology consultant. He then joined Entercon International, a start-up that became e2i, a global IT firm. While there he managed IT projects of multinational corporations in North America and Europe. Shawn left the IT industry in 2005 to join his mom at Morgan Stanley and form The Moore Group. As a team they work to enable their clients to achieve their personal and financial goals.

His background in Technology has allowed him to build a practice that is in line with the fast-paced global economy we live in. He has extensive experience in retirement planning, investment selection and estate planning strategies. Shawn earned the distinguished CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) designation from the College for Financial Planning in 2009. He also achieved the Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM) credential from Columbia University in 2016.

Shawn, originally from Dallas, splits his time between Dallas and Denver, where he now lives with his wife and two sons. Shawn enjoys camping, hiking and winter sports with his family.

Emily joined Rockefeller in 2020. Prior to that she spent 15 years at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management where she worked as a Client Associate until becoming a Registered Senior Client Associate. Emily prides herself on being a mentor and a coach to her peers and values personal development. Joining the Moore Group at Rockefeller her goal is to continue to provide exemplary service.

Emily resides in Plano, Texas with her husband, Scott, and her 3 dogs. Outside of the office she enjoys entertaining family and friends, being outdoors and traveling.
