Marie has a long standing track record in the industry, she focuses on helping successful individuals and multi-generational families manage and grow their wealth. She also helps manage pension and profit sharing plans for legal and medical professionals.


Prior to joining Rockefeller, Marie spent over 30 years at Morgan Stanley, and before that spent nearly a decade at Texas Instruments, where she was the Manager of Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures. She also served as the Accounting Manager of the E&CC Division and Worldwide Consolidations Accountant.


Marie has received a number of distinctions throughout her many years in the industry.  In 2017, she was named to Forbes inaugural list of “Top 200 Women Financial Advisors” and continues to be listed on Forbes’ ”American’s Top Women Advisors” in 2017-2020. Financial Times ranked her among the “Top 400 Financial Advisors” in 2016, and Barron’s has regularly honored her in the following rankings: “Top 100 Women Financial Advisors” (2012, 2014 – 2020), “Top 1,200 Advisors” (2014 – 2020) and “Top 1,000 Advisors” (2008 – 2013).


Marie prides herself on professional development. She was a Family Wealth Director and Senior Portfolio Management Director at Morgan Stanley and was a member of the firm’s Chairman’s Club (2010-2020). Marie earned her Certified Portfolio Manager® designation from Columbia University and received her M&A Certification from Northwestern University’s Kellogg GSM. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and earned her M.B.A. from the University of Dallas. She has been a member of Menttium 100 since 1997, where she mentoring future executive women.


A first-generation Italian-American, Marie and her husband live south of Dallas. She sits on the board of several private companies and is involved in many charities. In her time outside of the office, Marie enjoys spending time with her grandsons.

Shawn D. Moore is a Senior Vice President, Private Wealth Advisor at The Moore Group. Shawn began his career in wealth management in 2006 and has a passion for working closely with high net individuals and multigenerational families to develop customized financial plans. He remains committed to helping clients achieve their goals, which often entails financing a major acquisition, planning for a successful retirement and minimizing taxes through asset management strategies.


Shawn graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.S. degree in Business and Information Systems. He began his career at BSG as a technology consultant. He then joined Entercon International, a start-up that became e2i, a global IT firm. While there he managed IT projects of multinational corporations in North America and Europe. Shawn left the IT industry in 2005 to join his mom at Morgan Stanley and form The Moore Group. As a team they work to enable their clients to achieve their personal and financial goals.


His background in Technology has allowed him to build a practice that is in line with the fast-paced global economy we live in. He has extensive experience in retirement planning, investment selection and estate planning strategies. Shawn earned the distinguished CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) designation from the College for Financial Planning in 2009. He also achieved the Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM) credential from Columbia University in 2016.


Shawn, originally from Dallas, splits his time between Dallas and Denver, where he now lives with his wife and two sons. Shawn enjoys camping, hiking and winter sports with his family.

Emily joined Rockefeller in 2020. Prior to that she spent 15 years at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management where she worked as a Client Associate until becoming a Registered Senior Client Associate. Emily prides herself on being a mentor and a coach to her peers and values personal development. Joining the Moore Group at Rockefeller her goal is to continue to provide exemplary service.


Emily resides in Plano, Texas with her husband, Scott, and her 3 dogs. Outside of the office she enjoys entertaining family and friends, being outdoors and traveling.

Client Associate


Cassidy D. Steck is a Client Associate and member of The Moore Group at Rockefeller Capital Management. Cassidy joined the team in 2019 while they were at Morgan Stanley.


After finishing her education at the University of Wisconsin where she earned her degree in Finance, Cassidy started her career supporting one of the top private wealth management teams in the Midwest at Merrill Lynch. Cassidy had a successful run as a Regional Sales Manager with Ameriprise Financial, coaching over 100 financial advisors down the East Coast on marketing, client acquisition, and financial planning.


Cassidy enjoys the solving component that comes with financial planning and is eager to help high net worth individuals plan for goal achievement, retirement, and leaving a tax efficient legacy.


Originally from Wisconsin, Cassidy lives in Denver with her partner and their dog; she spends most of her free time enjoying the outdoors skiing, hiking, and camping.
