Timothy O'Hara is President of the Family Office and Co-Head of the Rockefeller Global Family Office at Rockefeller Capital Management. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

Tim is responsible for leading a team of talented senior client advisors and multigenerational wealth planning experts, building upon Rockefeller’s rich history of serving ultra-high-net-worth families through an expanded offering of investment, tax and estate planning, strategic advisory, and trustee services, while creating access to strategic partnerships providing risk management and lifestyle-enhancing services.

Prior to joining Rockefeller in 2018, Tim was President and CEO of Ayco, joining in 1996 as a client advisor in the Ayco Family Office. He assumed roles of increasing responsibility, including Head of the Ayco Family Office and Executive Vice President of the Asset Management, Insurance, and Finance divisions.

Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Le Moyne College and his J.D. from Albany Law School. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jimmy C. Chang, CFA®, is the Chief Investment Officer of the Rockefeller Global Family Office. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and is a Chartered Financial Analyst®.

Jimmy has spent more than 16 years with Rockefeller. Prior to becoming the Chief Investment Officer in 2020, Jimmy was the Chief Investment Strategist and a Senior Portfolio Manager at Rockefeller Asset Management, where he co-managed several equity strategies and had oversight of the Fixed Income group.

Before joining Rockefeller in 2004, Jimmy was a Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Strategist, and Senior Technology Analyst at the U.S. Trust Company of New York, where he led technology equity research and co-managed a technology fund. He previously served as a Senior Marketing Representative and an Advisory Systems Engineer at International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) from 1985 to 1994, where he was responsible for client relationship management, business volume, and profit attainments at major international financial services and banking accounts.

Jimmy earned an M.B.A. in Finance/International Business from New York University and a B.S. (summa cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from The Cooper Union.

He is a member of the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society. He serves on the Investment Committee of the Foundation for Contemporary Arts.

Tom Davidson is the President of the Rockefeller Trust Company (Delaware). He is responsible for the overall management of the Delaware Trust Company including building and cultivating strong client relationships, fulfilling fiduciary responsibilities, and ensuring adherence to standards and practices. Tom offers innovative solutions to help remedy complex problems involving all aspects of trust administration. He has over 26 years of experience in the trust and estate industry with over 21 years of Delaware specific trust administration, estate planning and fiduciary risk management.

Prior to joining The Rockefeller Trust Company (Delaware), Tom was President of a major international trust company in Delaware. Prior to that role, he was Director of Trust Administration for another major international trust company, also in Delaware. Previously, Tom was Trust Counsel for a prominent national trust company and he was in private practice with a boutique law firm in northern Maryland focusing on estate administration, estate planning, estate litigation, heir disputes and other fiduciary litigation matters. Tom is a veteran having served in the US Air Force as a Flight Engineer Supervisor.

Tom received his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and his law degree from Widener University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association section of Real Property, Trusts & Estates, a member of the Delaware Estate Planning Council and a former member of the New jersey State Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association.

Candice Dial is the Director of ESG Investments at Rockefeller. In her role, she is responsible for leading strategic ESG initiatives within the Family Office, which includes working with the manager selection team to build the third-party manager platform, engaging in thought leadership activities, and supporting Client Advisors. Previously, Candice implemented a sustainable investing program at the Church Pension Group and managed a $1.2 billion sustainability portfolio oversaw the private market sustainable investing program for the Church Pension Group, a pension fund with assets exceeding $14 billion. Candice has spoken in multiple global sustainable investment conferences and featured and mentioned in various video and print publications.

Chloe Duanshi is the Head of Quantitative Research and Portfolio Construction at Rockefeller Capital Management.

In this role, she is responsible for developing broad capital market outlooks – strategic and tactical asset allocation guidance – for the Rockefeller Global Family Office. Chloe also works with advisors and clients to construct bespoke multi-asset portfolios, utilizing both traditional and alternative investment strategies.

Prior to Rockefeller, Chloe was a cross-asset strategist at Morgan Stanley, where she specialized in asset allocation and portfolio construction for ultra-high net worth individuals, single family offices, endowments and foundations. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Chloe worked at BNP Paribas, where she was responsible for structuring custom leverage solutions for hedge funds within the equities and commodities derivatives space.

Chloe received her B.S. degree, manga cum laude, from the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University and M.A. degree in Mathematics from Columbia University. Chloe is a CFA charterholder.

Adrienne Hart is a Vice President and Head of Philanthropy at Rockefeller Capital Management, based in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to joining Rockefeller Capital Management, Adrienne was an Associate in the Private Client Group at Troutman Pepper and a Fiduciary Advisor for Hawthorn, PNC’s Family Office Division. Timothy Laffey is Head of Tax Policy & Research within the Global Family Office at Rockefeller Capital Management. In his role, Tim partners with colleagues across the organization in strategically advising clients with executive compensation, private equity, and multi-state taxation issues, as well as guide them through the implications of tax regulations while advising on tax strategies. He is also responsible for supporting our Family Office tax teams as well as setting tax policy for the Family Office.

Prior to joining Rockefeller, Tim was a Senior Vice President and Senior Wealth Planner in Wells Fargo Private Bank’s Regional Wealth Planning group and was a practicing attorney in the Personal Law group of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. He has spent his entire career counseling and advising ultra-high net worth clients in all aspects of income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, as well as business succession and philanthropic planning. Tim started his career in the Private Client Advisors group of Deloitte Tax.

Tim earned his accounting degree from the University of Scranton, magna cum laude, and his J.D. and Masters of Law in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Janet Welch is is a Managing Director and the Head of Family Office Services at Rockefeller Capital Management. She is also a member of the Firm’s Management Committee.

In her role, Janet partners closely with colleagues in building out the operating platform for Family Office, and has oversight of Operations, Family Office Technology initiatives, Business Management, Bill Concierge, Tax Preparation Services, Financial Reporting, Marketing, and Finance.

Prior to joining Rockefeller, Janet was the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for the Dalio Family Office. While there, she oversaw transformation efforts, program management, the finance and accounting organization, and business continuity. Most recently, Janet was responsible for leading the transformation of key portions of the family office operations including the creation of a holistic security and risk program and the build-out of Human Resources capabilities. Previously, Janet held increasingly senior roles at organizations including Diageo North America, QSP Inc., and IBM. Janet completed her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University and received her M.B.A. at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.

Grace Yoon is Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships for Rockefeller Capital Management. She is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

As Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, Grace is responsible for deepening client relationships and elevating client engagement for the Global Family Office. In this role, Grace is focused on enhancing the overall client experience, including engagement with women and next-generation family members, and building customized Sustainability and Impact investing solutions for clients. She is also responsible for curating and managing key relationships with strategic partners.

Prior to her current role, Grace was Chief Marketing Officer for the firm. Grace joined Rockefeller in March 2018 as Chief Operating Officer of Strategic Advisory and Head of Strategic Initiatives.

Before joining Rockefeller, Grace was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, responsible for driving wealth and asset management growth with investment banking clients. Prior to that, Grace spent a number of years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in investment banking and equity capital markets, and was a Director in investor relations for Merrill Lynch during the financial crisis.

Mia Erickson is a Managing Director and Senior Client Advisor at Rockefeller Capital Management. She counsels clients in all areas of financial planning focusing on retirement, estate, business succession, charitable, and compensation planning. Mia also provides strategic investment plans customized to the financial goals of her clients. Her passion for providing appropriate​ solutions and service for her clients is a top priority.

Prior to Rockefeller, Mia was a Senior Vice President at Whitnell where she specialized in financial planning for corporate executives, business owners, and wealthy families.

Before joining Whitnell, Mia was a Senior Financial Planner and Team Manager at Harris Bank. She also worked at Firstar Investments providing financial planning and investment services to her clientele.

Mia is a past Trustee of the Northwest Community Hospital Foundation Board and the Hospital’s Planned Gift Committee. In addition, she has served as a Director for the Giving Trust and Wellness Place.

Mia has been actively involved in the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and has served as the Director of Membership for the Chicago Loop Council, Director of Career Development for FPA Illinois, Chairman of the FPA Chicago Internship Program for FPA Illinois, and a mentor for the FPA Residency Program.

She received her bachelor’s degree in financial planning and counseling from Purdue University. She received her MBA degree in finance from Keller Graduate School of Management. She also holds the CFP® certification.

Brian Henderson is a Managing Director and Senior Client Advisor ​ at Rockefeller Capital Management. For nearly 20 years Brian has worked with high net worth individuals and families to deliver sophisticated wealth management advice.

Prior to Rockefeller, Brian was a Senior Vice President at Whitnell where he focused on understanding the unique differences and objectives in each relationship, helping his clients achieve results and reach their objectives.

Before joining Whitnell, Brian was a Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank. In that role, he worked on a team to provide integrated advice to clients in wealth transfer, investment management, credit, and banking.

Prior to Bank of America, Brian was Assistant Financial Planner at JMG Financial Group, Ltd. where he provided in-depth financial planning solutions to high net worth clients and their families. From 1994 to 1997, he built and customized stock and bond portfolios for clients at PaineWebber Incorporated.

Brian received his bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and is a current member of the Financial Planning Association®.

Wayne Janus is a Managing Director and Senior Client Advisor at Rockefeller Capital Management. A veteran of more than 35 years in the financial services industry, he provides personal financial and tax planning for a wide range of individuals, including senior executives, affluent business owners, law firm partners, retirees and families of deceased clients.

Wayne seeks to help clients maximize the tax benefits of charitable gifts, find creative ways to fund college education for children and grandchildren, and plan for their retirement needs, such as evaluating the tax implications of residing in other states.

Prior to joining Rockefeller in 2021, Wayne was President, Financial Planning at Whitnell. Before  Whitnell, he was Chairman of JMG Financial Group, Ltd., an Oak Brook-based company he founded in 1984. Prior to JMG Financial, he was a Tax Principal with Arthur Young & Co. In that role, he oversaw executive programs and provided personal financial planning services to officers of numerous publicly held Chicago-based companies.

Wayne attended DePaul University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as a Master of Science Degree in taxation.

Wayne currently serves as a member of the finance committee for Make a Wish Foundation of Illinois. He also serves on the Rush University Medical Center Neurosciences Leadership Committee. He serves on the advisory board for the Road Home Program for Rush Hospital to provide needed care for veterans and their families. He has been director of the Great Lakes Real Estate Investment Trust and a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council. He has also served on high school boards and endowment funds.

David Peckenpaugh is a Managing Director and Senior Investment Advisor at Rockefeller Capital Management. Dave has been an investment management professional throughout his career and brings a disciplined fundamental, research-oriented, long-term analytical approach to the investment process and the management of portfolios for clients. Utilizing this research, David focuses on helping clients understand their current investments and the risk and return trade-offs in their portfolios to help them achieve their objectives.

Prior to Rockefeller, David was chairman of the Investment Committee at Whitnell where he oversaw Whitnell’s investment process and provided ongoing research and recommendations for various direct investments, mutual funds, and outside managers.

Before joining Whitnell in 2006, David was with the Harris Bank managing the investments for selected high net-worth clients and families and overseeing the portfolio management group in the Hinsdale office. While at Harris, he served on various committees including the Common Stock Selection Committee and the Asset Allocation Metrics Committee which provided a framework for constructing client portfolios.

Prior to joining Harris Bank, David was a Senior Portfolio Manager with The Northern Trust Company for 11 years. He was responsible for developing the analytical process that was used for selecting common stocks in the Personal Investment Management Group.

David’s early career included roles with the Trust Department of the First National Bank of Chicago, and at Sears Bank and Trust Company.

David received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Christy Pedersesn is a Senior Vice President and Client Advisor at Rockefeller Capital Management and brings over 20 years of experience in the investment management industry to her role. Prior to Rockefeller, Christy was a Vice President at Whitnell. Her passion is combining her deep investing experience with her love of listening to life stories, goals and aspirations. Utilizing customized and holistic financial planning principles, she enjoys working with clients to help accomplish their unique mission and vision. Seeking to solve each individual client’s “puzzle” through cash flow planning, tax-efficient investment strategy, risk management and estate planning brings her great satisfaction.

Prior to joining Whitnell, Christy spent the majority of her career at UBS Global Asset Management where she was a Managing Director and Head of the Consumer Sector in the institutional equities division. She has also served as a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA-CREF, as a Strategy Consultant with Andersen Consulting and Stax, and in mutual fund administration and portfolio administration with Harris Associates, L.P.

Christy received her master’s degree in management from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and holds a B.A. in economics from Northwestern University. She is a CFA® and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. She is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago and the Financial Planning Association. Michael Loizzi is a Senior Vice President and Client Advisor at Rockefeller Capital Management. Prior to Rockefeller, Mike worked at Whitnell and was a member of Whitnell’s Investment Committee. As a member of the committee, he contributed to the investment analysis, due diligence and monitoring of recommended investments. In addition, Mike worked with clients in the positioning of their financial assets and the implementation of a customized investment strategy tailored toward their individual objectives.

Before joining Whitnell in 2005, Mike worked with a real estate firm on both commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Lisa Olson is a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at Rockefeller Capital Management. Prior to Rockefeller, Lisa was a Vice President at Whitnell where she implemented and managed the accounting and financial systems vital to delivering authentic integration of financial information to both clients and the advisors that serve them.

Lisa began her career in the family office field in 1992 when she joined the start-up MFO firm Frye-Louis Capital Management, playing a key role in building the firm’s infrastructure and client reporting deliverables. Lisa joined Whitnell in 2011 as one of the initial members of the Family Office Services team, drawing on her experience to develop the delivery of the group’s integrated financial service offering.

Lisa demonstrates the acumen to handle the complicated financial reporting needs of ultra-high net worth family groups. Lisa is a trusted strategic advisor to both colleagues and outside advisors, expertly managing the intricacies of complex family relationships.

Barbara Whiting is a Vice President and Tax Manager at Rockefeller Capital Management and has over 30 years experience providing tax consulting, research and wealth management services to a variety of high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and executives. She advocates for clients to arrange transactions in a manner that will comply with existing tax law and provide the best tax result.

Prior to Rockefeller, Barbara was at Whitnell where she provided tax and business consulting services to various closely held businesses.

Barbara’s tax experience encompasses individual income tax returns for high-income individuals, partnership returns, fiduciary returns and corporate returns. Her work requires a continual review of the literature that covers new federal and state tax legislation, judicial rulings and opinions and Treasury Department pronouncements.

Barbara began her career in 1979 as an auditor with KPMG in Denver and later with Coopers and Lybrand in Detroit. From 1985 to 1997, she was involved with planning and compliance for real estate partnerships and later with the formation of a publicly traded real estate investment trust with a $700 million market capitalization. In that span, she also provided asset allocation services to businesses that were expanding their facilities. From 1997 to present she has provided tax services in her solo CPA practice and as tax manager for financial planning and wealth management firms including JMG Financial Group and Whitnell.

A Chicago-area native, Barbara graduated with high distinction from the University of Colorado, where she received a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She received a Master of Science in taxation from Northern Illinois University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois Association of Certified Public Accountants, and an AICPA Trust Estate and Gift Tax Section Associate Member.

Craig Janus is a Senior Vice President and Client Advisor at Rockefeller Capital Management. Craig works with clients to help them achieve their objectives through focusing on insurance, investment, income tax planning and preparation, retirement planning and employee benefits, and estate planning. He uses his analytical and technical skills to develop creative ideas and solutions to solve complicated problems for clients. Craig enjoys watching his clients’ situations transform as they make their way through the financial planning process.

Prior to Rockefeller, Craig was a Vice President at Whitnell as well as a member of the Whitnell Investment Committee. In this capacity, he helped establish the liquid alternatives investment platform for Whitnell and continues to work with the Investment Committee in the ongoing oversight of these investments.

Prior to joining Whitnell, Craig worked for the Boeing Company where his level of security clearance allowed him to work on government contracts on the control systems of the F-15 and F-18 fighter jets.

Craig graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and received his master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He also has a Master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Craig is the chair of the investment committee of the Theta Xi foundation, a national educational 501(c)3 charitable organization.
